Building a Reputation.
Michael A. George's ability shows in his extensive experience in architectural design service, including site analysis, architecture, space-planning and interior design for custom residential, multi-family residential, commercial and historic architecture. With prior experience as project manager, project architect, designer, draftsperson, and graphic designer for a number of architectural firms, Michael is now the Principal and President of Michael A. George, Architect.
Degrees and Awards:
With a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1981, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) in 1982, Michael has gone on to receive a number of awards. He has been awarded the A.I.A. Scholastic Award "The Certificate of Merit," and the Grand Prize of the Design Competition with the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit.
Credentials:
Today, Michael is a Registered Architect in the State of Washington, a Member of the American Institute of Architects, a Member of the International Conference of Building Officials, a Member of the City of Monroe-Department of Construction Board of Appeals, and past chairman of The Snohomish Design Review Board.
