family room
Family Room - The family room features built-in bookcases, a masonry fireplace and fir beams and flooring. "The wood flooring was used as a border around inset carpeting, which softens the room and provides a warmer surface for the children to play," the architect notes.
bedroom
Bedroom - The interior finishes (including clear fir wainscoting, windows, and door and window frames) of the addition's master bedroom (and other rooms) were sealed to maintain consistency with the style of the residence. Skylights were incorporated into the vaulted ceiling to "fulfill the owners' desire for abundant natural light."
bathroom
Bathroom - In keeping with the Craftsman style of the house, the master bath features a tile floor and shower, vanity top with wood trim, vertical wood wainscot paneling and a true divided light window.
